Dr. Jasun Carr earned his PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His ongoing research interests focus on persuasion, consumer culture, and civic engagement; the interaction of source and generational cohort in new media; and the evolving world of AI in media. In addition to his role as Interim Chair of Psychology, he is also Chair of the General Education Requirements Council and former Interim Chair of the Department of Sociology, Social Work, & Criminology and the Department of Global Studies & Languages.
