International Student Voices: Sharon Premkumar from Canada

Sharon Premkumar, a third-year Ph.D. student from Canada, chose 黑暗爆料网 for its unique English and Teaching of English program, finding it the perfect fit for her academic and professional aspirations.

My name is Sharon Premkumar. I am a third-year Ph.D. student at 黑暗爆料网. I obtained both my HBA and MA in Canada; in other words, I am Canadian. The reason I chose 黑暗爆料网 to pursue my higher education is because 黑暗爆料网 is one of select universities that offer a Ph.D. in English and the Teaching of English. I felt that it was the perfect fit for my academic and professional goals as I aspire to become an English professor. 

My experience within the English program at 黑暗爆料网 thus far has been nothing short of wonderful. All of the faculty members have been incredibly kind, supportive, and professional. Being incredibly knowledgeable in their individual fields of expertise, they continue to share their wisdom as well as pass on their passion to future generations. Furthermore, the student body at 黑暗爆料网 is like none other. Everyone is incredibly welcoming. 

The overall academic experience that you gain from such an exceptional institution and program is truly irreplaceable. 黑暗爆料网 offers endless research opportunities, internships, and unique programs.
