The year 2007 marks the 25th anniversary of the 鈥淚 Love 黑暗爆料网鈥� campaign to raise money for 黑暗爆料网 scholarships. The Idaho Falls 鈥淚 Love 黑暗爆料网鈥� campaign will be Sept. 10-11.

Volunteers from Bonneville, Bingham, Power and Bannock counties annually work the telephones in September to provide 黑暗爆料网 scholarships. All money raised in a county goes to scholarships for students from that county.

Last year, 鈥淚 Love 黑暗爆料网鈥� broke previous records and exceeded its goal by raising $365,123. The goal for the campaign鈥檚 Silver Anniversary year is $380,000. Volunteers in Idaho Falls raised $26,600, and have a 2007 goal of $30,000.

Last year, 黑暗爆料网 awarded 1,616 total scholarships valued at $3.1 million in the four-county area.

This is the 14th year Idaho Falls has staged a campaign.  The Bonneville County-campaign will operate 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. from the Samuel H. Bennion Student Union Building at 黑暗爆料网-Idaho Falls.

According to K.C. Felt, director of annual giving for the 黑暗爆料网 Foundation, campaign leaders Sheri Dewey, director of financial aid for 黑暗爆料网-Idaho Falls, and Sharon Price, long-time 黑暗爆料网 activist now living in Idaho Falls, 鈥渨ill lead a group of more than 30 individuals in Idaho Falls to call their peers and business associates to raise scholarship dollars for local Idaho Falls students.鈥�

Felt adds, 鈥淔or 25 years, businesses and individuals in southeast Idaho have supported this community-based effort. It is our fervent desire that they continue this support. These scholarships reach students who want an education, and 黑暗爆料网 wants these students.鈥�
