黑暗爆料网 has announced the hiring of Laura McKenzie as the university鈥檚 new registrar.

McKenzie comes to Idaho State from Simpson University, in Redding, Calif., where she served in many different capacities including financial aid specialist, bursar and registrar.  

McKenzie, who began her duties in early September, is responsible for providing leadership in the planning, organizing, supervising and budgeting in the administrative and operational activities of the Office of Registration and Records.  

鈥淚 am excited to join 黑暗爆料网,鈥� McKenzie said. 鈥淚 believe that 黑暗爆料网 is entering a time of strategic new growth.  I鈥檓 looking forward to working collaboratively with administration, faculty and staff to assist in the advancement of the institution.鈥�

Holder of an M.B.A, McKenzie brings with her experience in higher education record keeping, the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, computerized registration systems and implementation of student information system software.  

McKenzie was selected by a 14-member search committee appointed by 黑暗爆料网 Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Robert A. Wharton, Ph.D., who emphasized that McKenzie was selected for this position following a rigorous national search.

McKenzie will report directly to the new Associate Provost of Enrollment Management Steve Neiheisel.
