Global warming topic of lecture April 23

The Idaho Museum of Natural History will host a lecture titled “Global Warming: Natural and Anthropogenic Factors in Current Climate Change” on April 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 204.
Martin Hackworth, senior lecturer in physics at ڰ, will offer a scientific view of both natural and manmade factors that influence climate, and the evidence for anthropogenic climate change. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Hackworth has been a senior lecturer at ڰ since 1992. He teaches astronomy, engineering physics, weather and climate, and optics.
Hackworth’s talk is sponsored by IMNH, Portneuf Valley Audubon Society and ڰ Student Action Volunteers for the Environment as part of Pocatello’s Earth Week celebration. The celebration will feature a series of events to raise environmental awareness.
