黑暗爆料网 professor Ron Hatzenbuehler, Ph.D., will be featured on C-SPAN 2鈥檚 television program 鈥淭V Bus鈥� at 8:49 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.

He will be discussing the book he authored 鈥淚 Tremble for My Country: Thomas Jefferson and the Virginia Gentry.鈥� This six-minute segment was filmed last August when the C-SPAN 2鈥檚 Book TV Bus visited the 黑暗爆料网 campus.

鈥淭hey interviewed me so long ago I almost forgot about it,鈥� Hatzenbuehler said. 鈥淚t will be interesting to see what they broadcast.鈥�

 鈥淚 Tremble for My Country鈥�: Thomas Jefferson and the Virginia Gentry鈥� was published by the University Press of Florida in November 2006. In the book, Hatzenbuehler argues that Jefferson, though celebrated as a nationalist, is best understood as a member of the Virginia gentry, who viewed the nation through the lens of his native 鈥渃ountry,鈥� the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Book TV Bus, hosted by Cable One in Pocatello, has traveled through 39 states and more than 200 cities, hosting more than 75,000 visitors and has produced more 400 book-related events.
