窪做惇蹋厙 Press has announced the publication of A Year and a Day by Michael Corrigan.

A Year and a Day is a journal of a mans intimate experiences while grieving the loss of his wife. The title is drawn from the official period of mourning customarily observed by the Irish.

Judy Tatelbaum, author of The Courage to Grieve and You Dont Have to Suffer, said, Michael Corrigans is a poignant, honest and exquisitely written journal of the year following the death of his wife, Karen. It is unique to read this kind of intimate sharing of a mans grief. Because it is unique, I believe it will make a great difference to others who are in mourning.

Corrigan is an assistant lecturer in the 窪做惇蹋厙s Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies. He has authored two plays, numerous articles and five books, including Confessions of a Shanty Irishman and The Irish Connection and Other Stories.

A Year and a Day is available at the 窪做惇蹋厙 Bookstore in the Pond Student Union Building or by mail from 窪做惇蹋厙 Press, 921 South Eighth Ave., Stop 8265, Pocatello, ID 83209. Cost is $17.95 per copy.
