Monsanto has announced the recipients of its fall 2008 Employees’ Children Scholarships, Kira C. Campbell and Joshua W. Hall.

Campbell, a 2007 graduate of Marsh Valley High School from Lava Hot Springs, is a sophomore studying biological sciences at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. Her father, Bret A. Campbell, is employed at Monsanto.

Hall graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 2004 and is currently a junior at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø studying engineering, but hasn’t selected an engineering field, yet. Hall’s stepfather, Tab Mendenhall, is an employee at Monsanto.

The Monsanto Employees’ Children Scholarship was established in April 2001 and was first awarded in the spring semester of 2002. Since its inception, 10 scholarships totaling nearly $6,000 have been awarded.  Recipients must be children of persons currently employed by Monsanto, and preference is given to students studying engineering and biological sciences.
