Tickets are now on sale for “Terry Tempest Williams—Community Conversations," a public presentation given by the internationally recognized essayist and nature writer.

Williams’s talk will highlight her upcoming book "Mosaic: Finding Beauty in a Broken World on Earth Day" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in Goranson Hall on the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Pocatello campus.

In addition, the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Literary Society will read from a selection of Williams’ writings during a nine-hour Read-a-Thon from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Hutchinson Quadrangle, or, in the event of inclement weather, the Canoe Room in the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Pond Student Union Building.

Tickets can be purchased at the Idaho Museum of Natural History, the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Student Union Information Center, or the Portneuf District Library. Tickets are $5 for Museum Members, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø faculty and staff, and any student with a valid student ID. Tickets are $10 for the general public. Tickets will also be available at the door, but seating is limited and advance purchase is recommended.

Williams will also be on hand for a book signing and reception following the lecture. Books will be available for purchase at the book signing. Doors open at 6 p.m. for open seating; there are no reserved seats.

Hosted by the Idaho Museum of Natural History, this program is possible with a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council and partnerships with the Marshall Public Library, the Portneuf District Library, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø and the Idaho State Journal.

The Museum is located on the campus of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Dillon Street in Building #12.
