American Indian Cultural Day set Aug. 27 at ڰ College of Education

The ڰ College of Education will host an American Indian Cultural Day from 11 a.m. to noon on Aug. 27 in the College of Education Auditorium, Room 243.
“This is a time for us to renew our commitment to education and to welcome new members to our teaching and learning community,” said Deborah Hedeen, dean of the ڰ College of Education.
Verlon Gould, Shoshone-Bannock Tribal member, will open with a prayer at 11 a.m., followed by a welcome message by Hedeen and Shoshone-Bannock Tribal leaders.
At 11:20 a.m. there will be a performance by American Indian dancers for Fort Hall featuring narration by Drusilla Gould and drumming by The Nation, from Fort Hall. There will be a closing ceremony at 11:55 a.m.
