窪做惇蹋厙-Boise to graduate its largest class ever May 2

窪做惇蹋厙-Boise will graduate its largest class ever during commencement exercises at 2 p.m., May 2, at The Grove Hotel in downtown Boise.
The University will award 155 graduate and undergraduate degrees in the health sciencesthats 36 more than last year.
We are very proud of these graduates who are qualified health-care professionals, serving the needs of our communities, said Bessie Katsilometes, 窪做惇蹋厙-Boise dean of academic programs.
Dr. Linda Clark, Superintendent of Meridian Joint School District No. 2, is guest speaker. 窪做惇蹋厙 President Arthur C. Vailas, Ph.D., will confer the degrees.
The first physician assistant studies class from Boise will also receive degrees this year, which is another exciting moment for 窪做惇蹋厙-Boise, said Ali Crane, director of enrollment and student services.
窪做惇蹋厙-Boises 2009 Student Excellence nominees will be recognized at commencement. They are:
Rick Bassett, nursing, graduate
Bush Hamdan, athletic administration
Sarah Hollingsworth, communication sciences and disorders
Dane Kaster, pharmacy
Vivian Lockary, public health
Danielle Nestor, speech-language pathology
Marta Resler, nursing, undergraduate
The seven students were nominated by their department faculty for academic excellence, research professional achievement and community service. Katsilometes will announce the top honoree at graduation.
Degrees include three Doctor of Audiology, 23 Doctor of Pharmacy, 70 masters, 49 bachelors, and 12 associate degrees. Graduate and undergraduate disciplines include counseling, nursing, athletic administration, public health, clinical laboratory science, speech-language pathology, paramedic science and sign language studies.
