• ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø News Student March through the Arch: Begins at 5 p.m. at Reed Gym and finishes on the Hutchinson Quadrangle near the Swanson Arch. ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø President Arthur Vailas, other ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø officials, and the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Marching Band will be gathered to welcome new students a day before the fall semester begins on Aug. 27. • ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Fall Semester Begins

• Welcome Back Orange and Black Celebration: ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø students will have a chance to win a car and other great prizes, plus enjoy free food, music and a variety of booths and entertainment during the third annual "Welcome Back Orange and Black" from 4 to 7 p.m. in Old Town Pocatello. The prize drawing will be held at 6 p.m. Buses will bring students downtown leaving from Eighth Avenue/Cesar Chavez Way at the bus stop in front of the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Student Health Center. • ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Participates in College Colors Day: ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is one of dozens of universities nationwide participating in the designated NCAA/Collegiate Licensing Company's College Colors Day 2012. The celebration will be held on Aug. 31 and it involves participation by national, regional, and online retailers representing more than 10,000 locations—all with the goal of increasing sales of collegiate merchandise.
