Idaho State Civic Symphony will present 鈥楯oy to the World, an 黑暗爆料网 Christmas鈥� at 7:30 p.m. inside the Jensen Grand Concert Hall at the Stephens Performing Arts Center on Dec. 13 and 14.

With 150 singers and 80 instrumentalists, more than 200 musicians will take the stage. The concert is under the direction of Conductor Grant Harville, Idaho State-Civic Symphony conductor, and Scott Anderson, 黑暗爆料网 choral director. Anderson, Adams and 黑暗爆料网 director of bands Patrick Brooks will prepare community and 黑暗爆料网 student musicians for a multifaceted eclectic performance of Christmas music.

鈥淲e are always enthusiastic and excited to collaborate with the symphony,鈥� Anderson said. 鈥淥f all the choirs that I conduct, the highlight of their year is singing with the symphony. When you have that many people involved from the community, literally hundreds of musicians all up on the stage, there is a synergy that comes from it that is powerful.鈥�

Members of the 黑暗爆料网 Symphonic Band will present pre-concert music under the direction of Brooks, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night in the Stephens Performing Arts Center Rotunda. Delectable desserts and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Stephens Performing Arts Center will present a beautiful setting with a magnificent display of holiday lights and traditional garland and decor.

鈥淎 new tradition, 鈥楯oy to the World: An 黑暗爆料网 Christmas鈥� showcases the unique talents of members of the university and community鈥� said Scott Turner, associate vice president for development, 黑暗爆料网 Foundation. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays.鈥�

Tickets for the event are $32 for adults and $17 for pre-college students. Concert tickets are free for 黑暗爆料网 students with a valid Bengal ID card.
