The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø physics department will present a science demonstration titled "Lasers, Lights, and Illusions" Aug. 15 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the covered arena at the southeast corner of the North Bannock County Fairgrounds.

This event is free to the public and will feature multi-colored lasers, light pipes, color mixing lights, amazing illusions with smoke, reflections, shadows and many other demonstrations. The final highlight will feature a laser light show set to music. All ages are welcome. There will be some loud noises, which may be startling to small children.

The demonstration show is funded by the International Society for Optics and Photonics and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. For more information contact Steve Shropshire at shrostev@isu.edu or 208-282-2212.
