New faculty members join ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Division of Health Sciences

The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Division of Health Sciences announces new hires this academic year, including Rick Tivis and Elizabeth Morgan at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø-Meridian.

Morgan is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. A nationally certified sign language interpreter, she teaches sign language studies and interpreting courses.

As the assistant director of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s new Idaho Center for Health Research, Tivis assists with all aspects of statistical analysis with expertise in using large data sets. He is also a co-director of the Community Health Screening Program, sponsored by ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø-Meridian, Ada County and other community partners.

John Fenstermaker, clinical associate professor, Family Medicine Residency Program; L. Derek Gerber, clinical assistant professor, Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy; Rachel Smetanka and Talia Sierra, assistant professors, Department of Physician Assistant Studies; Chad Yates, assistant professor, Counseling; Rebecca Hoover, clinical assistant professor, College of Pharmacy; and Robert A. Myers., visiting professor, College of Pharmacy.
