This shindig will be the cat鈥檚 meow. And how! Treasure鈥檚 Formal Bridal & Tuxedos, 149 N. Main Street, will hold a period fashion show from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at its Pocatello shop.

Live models will be showing off swell gowns and nifty tuxedos that are 鈥渉ip to the jive鈥� of the 1920s. The show will support 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 Great Gatsby-themed New Year鈥檚 Eve Gala, the proceeds of which will go toward scholarships for 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 visual and performing arts students.

The event is open to the public and no reservations are required. Hors d鈥� oeuvres and wine will be served.

Treasure Johnston owns Treasure鈥檚 Formal Bridal & Tuxedos, with stores in Idaho Falls, Rexburg and Pocatello.

She said she loves the styles of the 鈥�20s and that the fashion show is designed to be 鈥渁n experience,鈥� for those in attendance, a night when people can step back in time to years long past.

鈥淭hey鈥檙e going to be able to get a real feel for the era,鈥� she said. 鈥淚 can鈥檛 wait. It鈥檚 going to be fabulous. If you don鈥檛 want to have a fun night, don鈥檛 come!鈥�

The formal wear store participated in 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 annual 鈥淲elcome Back Orange and Black鈥� event in August. Shortly afterward, they were approached by the school about being the outlet for tux and gown rentals for those attending the gala.

Apart from supporting 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 art students, Johnston and Reed said holding a fashion show was a good way to reach out and connect to the people of Pocatello.
