ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Meg Long-Woodhouse to serve on Idaho Board of Dentistry

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter has appointed ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø dental hygienist Meg Long-Woodhouse to a five-year term on the Idaho Board of Dentistry.

Meg Long-WoodhouseLong-Woodhouse, who has taught at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø since 1991, is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene. She is licensed to practice in Idaho and Oregon and is affiliated with the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Pocatello Family Dental Residency and Idaho Advanced General Dentistry program.

A 1978 graduate of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s dental hygiene program, she was honored in spring 2014 with an ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Alumni Professional Achievement Award, representing the Division of Health Sciences. Long-Woodhouse also serves on the board of the Pocatello Free Clinic.

The Idaho Board of Dentistry consists of five dentists, two registered dental hygienists and a consumer advocate familiar with health care professions. Their role is to help oversee the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in Idaho.
