The 黑暗爆料网 Alumni Association has created local alumni chapters in the Treasure and Magic Valleys, and are in the process of creating local chapters in Idaho Falls and Pocatello.

鈥淎lumni chapters are being formed all throughout the state and region,鈥� said 黑暗爆料网 Alumni Director KC Felt. 鈥淭hey are led by some of 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 most dedicated and loyal alumni.鈥�

Local alumni chapters are run by volunteer five-member boards consisting of a president, vice president, membership chair, young alumni representative and events coordinator.

鈥淭he support for 黑暗爆料网 in the Magic Valley is overwhelming,鈥� said Shawnee Burt, president of the Magic Valley chapter. 鈥淥ur chapter is bringing 黑暗爆料网 into the greater Twin Falls community and is providing awesome opportunities to network, build friendships and remain connected to Idaho State. It鈥檚 a lot of fun.鈥�

Local alumni association chapters give more alumni an opportunity to network and stay involved with their alma mater, Felt said. Local chapters can also plan activities in their areas, and assist with recruiting efforts.

The Treasure Valley chapter recently created the Bengal Brown Bag Speaker Series as an opportunity to get together for lunch and benefit from innovative speakers. 黑暗爆料网 alumnus and chief U.S. district judge for Idaho B. Lynn Winmill was the most recent speaker.

鈥淥ur Bengal Brown Bags have proven to be very popular,鈥� said Treasure Valley chapter president Joshua Whitworth. 鈥淥ur chapter is connecting alumni through engaging programming, fun social activities, philanthropic opportunities and professional networking. The Bengal community is strong in Boise.鈥�
