Dianne Piggott and Jodi Dunn are featured speakers at “Transgender Day of Resilience" at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Nov. 27

POCATELLO – The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Gender Resource Center will host speakers Dianne Piggott and Jodi Dunn addressing “Transgender Day of Resilience – A Personal Perspective of Being Transgender in 2018” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 in the Pond Student Union Wood River Room.

Piggott is a graduate student in the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Department of Counseling at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø-Meridian. She is a trans advocate and has been the master of ceremonies for the Boise Pridefest. She served in a summer fellowship with the ACLU and has worked extensively with trans groups in the Boise area.

Dunn graduated from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø with his master’s degree in 2017.  He is an inspirational speaker and served in the U.S. Army. He will speak about his experience as a trans man in today’s political climate.
