Join us for the annual new student convocation this Friday, August 18, from 7:30-8 p.m., at Davis Field. The ceremony will be followed by the traditional new student march through the arch. We hope you, as a faculty member, will attend this milestone event which calls together the entire campus community to welcome our newest members of the Bengal family.

Faculty will process in and sit as a group in the bleachers for the 30-minute ceremony. While convocation is the bookend to commencement, ours will be less formal than a commencement ceremony. Regalia will not be worn, but many traditions and symbols will still be featured. We ask that you wear business professional attire, and 黑暗爆料网 colors are a plus! Please gather by 7:20 p.m. behind the fieldhouse west of Davis Field. There will be directional signs and a volunteer to line you up.

At convocation we will aim to inspire new students, help them feel a connection to their new university family, and demonstrate 黑暗爆料网’s commitment to supporting students as they pursue their education. All faculty are encouraged to participate in this exciting tradition.
