Summer Group Fitness: Free Classes

Get energy this summer with Recreation and Wellness Drop-In Group Fitness. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. These noon workouts are free for students and gym members all summer long.
RecWell is extending “Employee Appreciation” through the summer to appreciate ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø's dedicated employees. Faculty and Staff with an FS Bengal ID may continue to attend these group fitness classes at no cost.
Summer Class Schedule:
Mondays – Zumba
Rec Center Room 277
Zumba with Molly is a fun, Latin-inspired dance fitness class that offers a full-body cardio workout with easy-to-follow moves and global music—making exercise feel like a party.
Tuesdays – UpBeat Pilates
Rec Center Room 277
Steph leads an energetic, fast-paced class that blends traditional Pilates with modern flair. Each session targets every muscle group while enhancing mind-body awareness using weights, bands, or balls.
Wednesdays – Spinning
Rec Center Room 287
Join Laura in the newly renovated cycling studio for a low-impact, high-intensity ride on brand-new Matrix bikes. With upbeat music and challenging intervals, sprints, and climbs, you’ll boost endurance and burn serious calories.
Thursdays – Yoga
Rec Center Room 277
Jesse's beginner-to-intermediate yoga class blends slow flow and varied poses with mindful movement, breathwork, and intention setting. Equipment is provided—just bring yourself and an open mind.
Please note: There will be no classes on May 26, June 19, or June 30–July 11 due to scheduled breaks, closures, and holidays.
