Idaho Museum of Natural History offers family fun events
POCATELLO—The Idaho Museum of Natural History is providing some educational activities to go along with its new “Titanoboa: Monster Snake” exhibit.
- April 13 鈥� Charles Peterson, a herpetologist at 黑暗爆料网, will give a talk at 7 p.m. on 鈥淚daho's Miniature Boa Constrictor: The Rubber Boa鈥� and it鈥檚 relation to Titanoboa. He will have a Rubber Boa available for guests to play with and meet.
- April 16 鈥� Family Fun Day is April 16, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. This event will feature snake-related crafts such as a cold-blooded activity and wood snake painting.
- May 7 鈥� The museum will have a Mother鈥檚 Day craft available for children 11 a.m. 鈥� 2 p.m. There is a $5 activity fee. Kids will have the opportunity to make a mason bee house. In addition, the museum is offering a 50-percent discount gallery admission to a mother accompanied by a paying child.
