黑暗爆料网 students raise money for Idaho Food Bank

POCATELLO – 黑暗爆料网 psychology senior and Rugby Club member Nelson Wadman led the efforts to raise money for a cause he is passionate about, the Idaho Food Bank’s Backpack Buddy Program. Funds raised were more than $450.
鈥淭here are children in the community that only eat and have access to food while in school,鈥� Wadman said. 鈥淚 was extremely happy I could help this great cause.鈥�
The Backpack Buddy program helps low income children have access to nutritious meals through their school鈥檚 free-and-reduced breakfast and lunch program.
Every Friday, each participating child receives a backpack with enough food for two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners and two snacks. Meals consist of nutritious, child-friendly items.
Wadman and others set up tables at the Pond Student Union to raise money and bring awareness to the program.
鈥淪o many people donated and participated with raising the money,鈥� Wadman said.

- Tri-Sigma sorority
- Social Work Club

- 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 Rugby Club team
- 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 Soccer team
- 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 Softball team
- 黑暗爆料网鈥檚 Volleyball team
