ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø TRIO receives two Upward Bound grants worth more than $3 Million

POCATELLO – Higher education is a different language, and it is easy to hit roadblocks if you are not raised knowing how to navigate it. This is why ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s TRIO program has renewed the Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) grants this year. Combined, the two grants provide more than $3 million of support for ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø students.

Smylie Family Legacy Fund donates $100,000 to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø health professions programs

MERIDIAN-ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø has received a $100,000 gift from an iconic Idaho family to support health professions programs and the medical sciences at the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø-Meridian Health Science Center, according to university officials.

POCATELLO – When Lindsay Brown first visited ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Career Center for an assignment during her senior year of college, she didn’t plan on making more than one appointment. After that first visit, though, she decided she wanted to see more of the services it had to offer.

POCATELLO – The 47th annual ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Women’s Club Holiday Fair will be held Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Pond Student Union Ballroom.

POCATELLO – ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø will celebrate Diversity Week Nov. 6-9 with a movie, brown bag luncheons and an evening discussion.

Idaho State-Civic Symphony to host cellist Zuill Bailey Nov. 8 and 10

POCATELLO – The Idaho State-Civic Symphony will host an evening of “Wine and Music,” featuring a variety of wines and a solo performance by internationally acclaimed virtuoso and two-time Grammy award winning cellist, Zuill Bailey.
