DJ Williams Publishes New Study, Gives Invited Presentation


DJ Williams, Associate Professor of Sociology, Social Work, & Criminology; recently gave an invited presentation on intersections of self-identified vampirism and sexuality at the 2nd Annual New York City AltSex Conference. He also published a new study titled, "Self-identified vampirism and risk for false positives: A case example of team homicide and implications for forensic behavioral science," in the May issue of the prestigious Journal of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Williams also co-presented research on consensual bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism (BDSM) as leisure experience with Jeremy Thomas (ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø), Emily Prior (College of the Canyons), Thea Alvarado (Pasadena Community College), and Candace Christensen (University of Texas, San Antonio) at the Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities (CARAS) conference in Chicago.
