ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø alum Rafi Ahmed to receive 2017 Robert Koch Award for pioneering studies on immunological memory

POCATELLO—ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø alum Rafi Ahmed will receive the 2017 Robert Koch Award on November 3 at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin. Ahmed will also be receiving 120,000 euros, approximately $135,379, in prize money.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø physics Professor Ed Tatar working on mega-science neutrino experiment; groundbreaking set July 21

POCATELLO – ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø physics Professor Ed Tatar and his students are participating in a global mega-science experiment involving 1,000 other researchers from 30 countries who are studying neutrinos, which are subatomic particles with most unusual properties.

POCATELLO – In June, Bamidele Omotowa, president of Pearlhill Technologies in Idaho Falls, sent a letter to Idaho Sen. James E Risch, in which he expressed thanks to the Idaho Falls Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø for the assistance they gave which resulted in more than $1 million of grant money being awarded to Pearlhill Technologies.
