Standards of Length
Brief Description
This demonstration shows the devices we use to measure length.
Materials
Ruler, meter stick, protractor, tape measurer.
Setup
Place the materials on a table so the professor has access and the students can see them.
Performing the Demo
Allow the students to feel, look, and use the different measuring equipment.
Safety and Other Notes
Please do not let the students (or Professor) use the meter sticks as swords or the protractors as boomerangs.
