Homecoming Alumni Award Nominations

Nominations for the 2026 Alumni Awards are open! All nominations should be submitted through the official and include all personal data and information relevant to the nominee's qualifications. 

Nominations for our alumni awards (except for the President's Medallion, which is selected by the Dean's Office) can be submitted by anyone and are due by May 17. The awards will be given at the Alumni Recognition Dinner on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. For questions, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement at (208) 282-3755.

Support future alumni with a donation of $30 or more to the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍøAA Scholarship Endowment, and the Alumni Association will send you a 3'x5' ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Bengal flag!
 
By donating to the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment, you are helping to build the pipeline of future Bengals. The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍøAA Scholarship Endowment supports children, step-children, and grandchildren of Bengal alumni.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Alumni and Friends Invited to Submit Nominations for 2026 Alumni Awards

Idaho State Community Comes Together to Raise over $825,000 on Bengal Giving Day

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Bengal Giving Day 2026 brought the campus and alumni community together in a powerful show of support, raising $826,842 through 1,182 gifts from 835 donors. Held March 10–11, this year’s event coincided with ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s 125th anniversary, making it an especially meaningful time to reflect on the generations of support that have shaped the institution since 1901.

Andy Whittier's Journey from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø to Team USA

Thanks to Cool Runnings, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø alumni Andy Whittier knew what bobsled was, but not skeleton. Taking a chance, he sent in numbers from his ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø football days and got invited to Park City, Utah, for a 2-week fast-track training and trial run. A month later, Whittier was on his way to a life-changing career as a world-class skeleton racer.
